blushing ambition

I love this blog. Half are clothing posts and half are food posts- more inspiration than I need for days.

Nasty Gal

These Jeffrey Campbells are a more affordable version of the very popular acne wedges- I'm kind of in love.
Anything that IS lace, or looks like lace I have to stop myself from buying.
I've been looking for the perfect oxfords- these Jeffrey Campbells' are as close to perfect as I can hope, with the cut outs.
I'm been eyeing everything floral these days- not sure why since I've never really liked floral...
I looove these zip leggings.

Floral- see ha.
I need some new tanks for the summer
This skirt caught my eye, I love the shape it makes.

blue valentine

Some how I missed this? It hasn't come out yet. It's just at Cannes right now- so it will probably be a while- buuut oh geeze I want to see it. I've liked Michelle Williams since her Dawson's Creek days (which by the way I have like every season- sad I know, but sometimes i crack them out just to see Pacey's face haha)

But then I read this:
"Before this festival actually began, Derek Cianfrance's Blue Valentine was pegged as one of the "hot" acquisition titles of 2010. And then, as so often happens here, the film screened, and the proverbial word on the street changed. Valentine slipped from the center to the margin of the general sales conversation, not because it disappointed--in fact, it's probably the most passionately loved film of the festival amongst the cadre of journalists and indie industry persons with whom I spend my evenings drinking--but even those who love it admit that there's no confusing Blue Valentine with an easy sell, and in fact, there may be no way to sell the film at all at a lower altitude. The initial buzz must have come from an ignorant extrapolation of what little was known about the movie. Blue Valentine may be a flashback-heavy, tear-jerking romance starring Ryan Gosling, but it's sure as shit not The Notebook."
" I was so seduced by Valentine's final moments, but the more I think about it, the more my affection sours.Valentine wilts under any attempt to strenuously wrestle with it. Call it a case of blue balls. "

I'm seeing it anyway.

I'm not even sure why, but I LOVE the first outfit, I want that sweater so badly. And the jacket in the second picture is cute.

So, I'm sitting here, so bored. And wanted to tell you guys that I have always wanted blonde hair, and this girl's hair is fucking gorgeous.
That is all.
And I have to do a post about my new shoes soon.

Spring

Hey guys, I've been slightly uninspired over the last couple of weeks...hense the no blogging. But I feel like perhaps that's just because my blog doesn't necessarily reflect completely who I am which makes me uninspired to write or blog, it's a horrible circle.
So I'm going to attempt to break out of that cycle by re-working my blog and perhaps not just writing about fashion, or posting pictures, we'll see. Maybe that won't happen and it will be the same blog as it has been.
Anyway, I told myself I had to blog today, so here I am, blogging. I'm doing this as I'm stirring my soup and thinking about what I'm going to do tonight.
This soup that I'm making for dinner is honestly probably my favourite soup. At least right now. And it's so simple with carrots, celery, corn, beans, pasta, squash. But it's delish.

So, figured I would leave you with the gorgeous abbey lee. always lovely.
Oh and also, this blog (by another high school friend) inspired me to start blogging again- check it out: http://vanillacardamom.blogspot.com/
